I sat down with Jay Alm to see how he started playing and get some advice for other emerging musicians. How long have you been playing music? Well, I started when I was 13, so I guess 9 years ago. I started with playing the guitar and creating lyrics, although it took me a long-ass time to be able to put the two together.
